How Does The Compass Programme Work

We collaborate with pioneering innovators by supporting you and your idea for a minimum of 12 months.

The Compass Programme enables founders and investors to accelerate progress by reducing the time, cost, and uncertainty associated with reaching critical technical and commercial milestones.

Securing Investment

Our approach is to help founders in three phases:

Phase 1

Discover

3 months
Three months of free help to determine fit.

We begin by working together while conducting mutual diligence. During this phase, we help you refine your idea, assess technical and commercial fit, and determine whether a deeper collaboration makes sense, entirely at our risk.

Phase 2

Pioneer

9 months
Nine months of committed collaboration on business strategy, technical work and fundraising support.

This is the core of the programme. We work closely with founders on:

  • Business and market strategy
  • Technical development and integration
  • Fundraising preparation and investor readiness

Our contribution is made as a sweat investment.

Phase 3

Pilot

3 months
Three months of testing on board our floating lab.

Selected start-ups can progress to real-world testing onboard our floating lab, enabling live validation in operational maritime conditions. This phase is contributed in kind and is optional, depending on readiness and relevance.
